Before and After the Oscars

Los Angeles was burning up with Oscar fever on Sunday night as celebrities were out in full force on the red carpet and at The Governor's Ball.

The 80th Academy Awards for the outstanding film achievements of 2007 were presented February 24, 2008, at the Kodak Theatre.

Before the event, the stars clustered on the red carpet and immediately after the telecast, Oscar winners, nominees, telecast participants and Academy guests descended on the Grand Ballroom of the Hollywood & Highland Center for The Governor's Ball. 1,500 guests enjoyed an elaborate multi-course meal by celeb chef Wolfgang Puck that included Thai spiced shrimp with holy basil and candied ginger and Wagyu beef with Chinese broccoli shiitake stir-fry with black truffle macaroni and cheese.
