Braveheart was set in the 13th century. Pearl Harbor was set during World War II. And in Randall Wallace's latest war epic, he visits Vietnam. Wallace writes and directs the true story of Lt. Colonel Harold Moore (Gibson), battalion leader in one of the first battles of the conflict, in November 1965. American soldiers were surrounded by thousands of North Vietnamese Alliance troops in what was soon to be called the Valley of Death. Considering America's current surge of patriotism, this film could make us all quite verklempt.
