A Walk to Remember
Teenage pop star Moore plays Jamie Sullivan, a goody-goody who’s the daughter of the local minister in a rural North Carolina town. The town’s bad boy, Landon Carter (West, who looks like a studlier Doogie Howser and was recently seen in Get Over It) meets Jamie when he’s sentenced to do chirpy community service activities, which she was already doing. The film is infused with Christian overtones as Landon finds the right path through Jesus. (Unfortunately for female viewers, he stops wearing cute, rebellious-looking outfits as a result of his conversion.)
