If you keep a dog-eared copy of Syd Field's classic writing manual Screenplay in your bedside drawer, chances are you'll be jealous of Pete Jones. He won Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's "Project Greenlight," which asked regular people to submit screenplays. The lucky winner (Jones) got $1 million and the chance to turn his script into a movie. His feature, Stolen Summer, is about two young boys, one of whom is dying. Together, the friends come up with a plan to make sure the dying boy gets into heaven. This may sound familiar if you've seen HBO's series on the making of the film.
