Things We Lost in the Fire

After the tragic death of almost super-human father-figure, Brian (David Duchovny), the once comfortable, happy family is left to deal with a glaring absence. When Brian's wife, Audrey (Halle Berry), invites his close friend (Benicio del Toro), a former lawyer and recovering heroin addict, to his funeral, they are unexpectedly drawn to each other through their mutual love for Brian. Audrey invites Jerry into her home and life, where he navigates the space hollowed by Brian's departure with mixed results.
