Keira Knightley steps out in period costume again, while 'Harry Potter' star Daniel Radcliffe plays another orphan boy.
Silk
Based on the Alessandro Baricco novel, about a cross-cultural love triangle set against the 19th century silk trade. Last Days star Michael Pitt plays a trader who falls in love with the concubine of a local baron while traveling from France to Japan for silkworms, and who struggles to keep his long-distance romance a secret from his oblivious wife, played by Keira Knightley.
December Boys
Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe stars in this story of orphan boys who see their close-knit group torn apart when they start competing over the affections of potential adoptive parents while on yearly vacation on the Australian coast in the 1960s. TV vet Rod Hardy directs.
Ira and Abby
A neurotic and comedic take on marriage and relationships, Ira and Abby sounds like a sitcom set-up: Nebbish Jewish man meets free-spirit woman, they get married, complications arise. Star Jennifer Westfeldt penned the screenplay — she also wrote and starred in the similarly quirky Kissing Jessica Stein.
Dragon Wars
From Korea, with dragons. Dragon Wars (or D-War, as it's also known) is exactly what it sounds like: 500-year-old Korean legends turn out to be real, real big, and really covered in scales. They also choose downtown Los Angeles as their battleground. Godzilla's got nothing on this — there was only one of him.
