Bond Breaks Record in Britain
Casino Royale opened to 1.7 million pounds ($3.2 million) on its first day of release in the U.K., a 54 percent increase over previous Bond record holder, Die Another Day. More at Reuters.

Borat Beseiged
One week after two fraternity brothers filed a lawsuit against 20th Century Fox, Cindy Streit, owner of Etiquette Training Service in Birmingham, Ala., has retained high-powered attorney Gloria Allred to examine whether her consent to appear in Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat was obtained by "fraud and misrepresentation" in violation of the California Trade Practices Act. Huston to Direct Kiss
Actress Anjelica Huston will direct Give Us a Kiss, which centers on a stuggling crime writer and his criminal brother, for Focus Features. More at Reuters.
