Normally, we here at Premiere News at least attempt to take the high road when it comes to these matters. However, we couldn't help but comment on just how much it looks as though someone Photoshopped Tom Cruise's hair onto the scalp of some poor, unsuspecting little infant. More at Vanity Fair.

A New Game for Carrey, Diaz
Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz, who previously starred together in The Mask, will reteam for A Little Game Without Consequence, a dramedy about a couple who play a prank on friends and relatives by pretending to break up, and find out no one thought they belonged together in the first place. The film is being directed by Gabriele Muccino (December's The Pursuit of Happyness). More at The Hollywood Reporter.

Getting Downloads
The age of (legally) downloading movies online may finally be upon us. The Los Angeles Times reports that Apple is expected to announce a deal with Disney that will allow them to offer the studio's movies for download on the iTunes store. Also, Amazon may announce as early as tomorrow a deal with at least three major studios to sell downloadable films from its online store. More at The Los Angeles Times.

Director Plans to Defy Ban
Chinese director Lou Ye, who was handed a five-year ban on making films by his home government for submitting his film Summer Palace to The Cannes Film Festival before it was cleared by Chinese censors, has called the ban "ridiculous" and says he plans to continue to make new movies.
