Scene Stealer: Saffron Burrows
Circle of Friends (1995)
The bonding between costars (Burrows, Minnie Driver, and Chris O'Donnell, among others) in this coming of age story hardly stopped when director Pat O'Connor yelled, "Cut."
"It was terrific because there's really never a time again in your life like that: we were all young, single, and living in country houses together. And none of us were getting enough sleep because you would stumble into an isolated pub on a Tuesday night, and of course, there would be three musicians playing. At one point we decided that we all should chip in and buy a castle in Ireland together, and we'd all go holidaying there. After it rained for about the 140th day in a row, we all bailed on the idea."
