Since her debut as a seductive schoolgirl in 1996's Trainspotting, Kelly Macdonald has been wowing audiences with her irresistible Scottish charm. In this month's Coen brothers thriller, No Country for Old Men, the 31-year-old actress plays a young woman whose life gets complicated when her husband (Josh Brolin) stumbles upon two million dollars in cash. Oh, and did we mention that her character is a true-blue Texan who works at a Wal-Mart and lives in a trailer park? "It's based on a Cormac McCarthy novel, the Coen brothers directed it, and it has Tommy Lee Jones," says the Glasgow native. "I mean, it couldn't be more American."
