As any good look at Blockbuster's bargain bin will tell you, the only people who have a harder time going from the small screen to the big one than Saturday Night Live characters are the Saturday Night Live actors who play them. And yet, they keep on trying, as in the new movie Hot Rod, which stars Adam Samberg, an SNL vet of a whopping two years.
