Most remember James Remar as a hard-as-nails gangbanger in the 1979 action film, The Warriors. Others probably recognize him as Richard Wright, one of the many lust interests of Samantha Jones on Sex and the City. But Remar has unusual intensity and range, as anyone who has seen The Cotton Club, Drugstore Cowboy, or What Lies Beneath can attest. In the animated comedy Ratatouille, he lends his signature gravely voice to LaRousse, a chef in a Paris restaurant.

Premiere.com recently spoke with Remar about some of his more memorable performances.
