Your last moment, when you are falling to your death, was very intense.
Maggie: Len was so torn up about that. "If it's too pretty, if you look pretty, I'm going to kill myself," he said. He was so adamant about her not being too stylized or pretty, or too, Charlie's Angels. He was so against that. I love that about Len. I hate that Charlie's Angels stuff. If I'm going to fight in a movie, it's going to be hardcore, and I'm going to kick ass, and I'm going to do it like a man. I'm not going to do it with my hair curled. I'm not going to do it with makeup on. I'm just going to do it.
Justin: Yeah, and if I break a nail, it's going to be in your ass.
[Laughter]

Did you know anything at all about cyber-terrorism before the movie?
Justin: The short answer is no. People were asking me if I'd done any research. I tend to get over-analytical with character stuff, but then I kind of realized that he's a hacker and the fact that the movie [has to do with] with cyber-terrorism really has nothing to do with his journey in movie; it's really so secondary. But there were times when I'd ask questions. I figured since I had all these lines about a "mutating encryption algorithm," I should know what that is.
Maggie: It sounds so natural, you saying it, even though I know you have no idea what it is.
Justin: I tried to learn what it is, but even the screenwriter was like, "You know, I'm not really sure."
Maggie: Yeah, he's looking it up in Cyber Terrorism for Dummies.

So finally: Kevin Smith. Smart guy, beloved by thousands. But actor…?
[Laughter]
Justin: He can play Kevin Smith a lot better than anyone else can.
Maggie: Oh, he does that really well.
Justin: I love Kevin and have always been a fan of his movies. We were doing what I call necessary improvisation, which is the worst way to improv. It's the worst environment for improv, because it's out of necessity, just because script isn't there. That was the environment, writing by committee, and Kevin came in and pulled this all together.
Maggie: He's a good writer. We love him.
Justin: We were so happy to have him. We needed him. And he was able to take all this bad exposition and turn it into that speech that he gives…the speech that PREMIERE has obviously taken umbrage with.
