Critic's Choice: Best of 2007

'Tis the season…to compile top ten lists. But I've never been too good with numbers, or with discipline, so in years past I've always done Top-Ten-Plus-Ten lists. This year, because it turned out to be a pretty damned good year for movies, and also because I can, I'm offering you my top ten, in order of preference, followed by not ten, but 15 more movies that made an impression on me — and which I think should impress you as well — in 2007.
