Ever since Irish author Bram Stoker hijacked the legacy of a Wallachian prince to craft his legendary novel Dracula, vampires have latched onto pop culture and have stubbornly refused to let go. From sinister creatures of the night to suave undead aristocrats to bratty kids, they come in all shapes, sizes, and danger levels — and as the release of the vampires-in-Alaska fright flick 30 Days of Night shows, there'll be no shortage of nocturnal creeps for ages of cinema to come.
Premiere now invites you to dim the lights, bless your water supply, and go heavy on the garlic as we pay tribute to the cornucopia of vampires that movies have introduced us to over the years.
