Friday (1995)
For the legions of fans who worship this 'slackers in the hood comedy,' Mac's philandering, pot-smoking, and red briefs-wearing man of God left them begging for more.

BERNIE MAC: "Originally, I didn't think it was going to be as good as it ended up being. I thought it was just another one of those black movies that was too over the top. But when it came out, people were just unbelievably crazy about it. And with Next Friday and Friday After Next, [I kept being asked], 'You gonna be in this one? You gonna be in that one?' But I didn't want to do them because I thought the Reverend didn't need to come back. He proved his point in Friday and had he come back, it would have killed his presence in the first one."

Ocean's Eleven (2001)
The fun that Mac and his costars were having onscreen was nothing compared to what was going down when the cameras weren't rolling. Read a review of it here.

"We would play all day — pushing and shoving, throwing spitballs, putting tacks on your seat. You got to protect yourself at all times around them cats. It was a party every damn day. Oh my God. And [producer] Jerry Weintraub had built s**t special for us. He wants you to come in at lunchtime, come in after lunch, come in when you get your break. Man, he sets it up for you. He gives you carte blanche. You'd be unhealthy as hell: booze, cigars, cakes. I just can't handle it, man. I can't drink like that no more."

Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003)
Depending on who you ask, Mac may have enjoyed working with Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu just a tad too much. Click here to read Premiere.com's review.

"Drew's my girl. She's still got that little school girl style about her. Just makes you want to climb on top of her and give a little grind. And Lucy Liu, she's kind of hot too. She turned me on. My wife slaps me every time I talk about her."
